Barbera d'Alba DOC Seghesio

A Barbera d'Alba DOC from Seghesio, made exclusively from Barbera grapes and expressing the Piedmontese territory. It has a deep, almost impenetrable ruby red colour. The nose offers intense aromas of ripe cherry and plum, with subtle spice and a light touch of vanilla from wood ageing. On the palate it is vigorous and robust, with good acidity, a full body and soft, well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with fruity and spicy notes. It pairs well with Piedmontese dishes such as agnolotti del plin, braised meats and game, as well as medium-aged cheeses.
