Bardstown Wheated Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon is a 6 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the Bardstown Bourbon Company's Origin Series, bottled at 100 proof. As a bottled-in-bond whiskey it is entirely estate-distilled during a single distillation season, and its mashbill has a high proportion of wheat.
The nose offers warm vanilla, honeyed pastry, sweet oak, dark caramel and gentle cinnamon. The palate is creamy, with butterscotch, orchard fruit, brown sugar, toasted wheat and baking spice. The finish is long and smooth, with vanilla, soft oak and mild spice.
