A blend of American and Canadian whiskeys from Barrell Craft Spirits, in a 750ml bottle at 62.62% ABV. It combines 18 year old Kentucky whiskey finished in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels with Canadian whiskies aged 23 to 25 years and finished in Sauternes barrels.
The Cabernet barrels add structure and dark-toned warmth, while the Sauternes barrels bring a soft, golden richness.
The nose is green apple, peach and cranberry, opening to pina colada, key lime pie and fruitcake, with honey and eucalyptus. The palate has honey, Mirabelle plum, coconut milk and roasted chestnut. The finish runs from Rainier cherry and white currant to resin, incense and a mineral note of chalk.
