A single barrel whiskey from Mexico, made from yellow heirloom corn native to Oaxaca. It was distilled in San Agustin de las Juntas by master mezcalero Douglas French, in a 75cl bottle.
The corn is a single ancestral variety that is harvested by hand. The whiskey was aged for 10 months in French oak.
The nose brings blue iris, dried chilies and fresh linen around a core of plump corn. Tangy marmalade, maple syrup and pepper follow, with a spiced-honey finish.
