Sierra Norte – Single Barrel Black Corn Whiskey (70cl)

Sierra Norte Black Corn is a single barrel whiskey from Mexico, made from black corn, in a 70cl bottle. Sierra Norte also makes the Scorpion mezcal, and its single barrel whiskeys are young spirits aged for at least 8 months in French oak casks. The nose is penetrating, with maraschino cherry and banana peel. On the palate come hazelnut, herbal and earthy notes and a light smokiness. The finish recalls wedding cake with vanilla icing and almond.
