Basil Hayden Toast is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Beam, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is a newer creation that replaces the rye grain in the mash with brown rice, which brings sweeter notes.
The bourbon matures in toasted oak, which shapes its aroma. It keeps the soft, approachable character of the Basil Hayden name.
