Belgrove Hopped Malt is an Australian single malt in a 50cl bottle, made using hops. It is bottled at natural cask strength.
The nose is floral and complex, enough that someone who did not know about the hops might guess it had been aged in a sauternes cask. The alcohol burn is minimal for the strength, and the bitterness some expect from hops is very slight.
The taste is fruity and well balanced, leading into a long, sweet, malty finish.
