Belle Meade Bourbon is a bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 45.2% ABV. The whiskey was produced at the MGP distillery in Indiana for the Nelson's Green Brier company.
Charles Nelson founded the original business and made whiskey from 1867 until 1909, when Tennessee brought in state-level prohibition. In 2011 two of his great-great-great-grandsons announced a plan to revive the brand and make whiskey from his recipes. This bourbon is part of that revival.
