A straight bourbon from Doc Swinson's, distilled at MGP and bottled at 57.55% ABV (115.1 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is a blend of two mash bills, one of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley, the other of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley.
The bourbon spent at least five years in American white oak, then was finished for four and eight months in casks that had held extra Añejo tequila.
The tasting notes give bright citrus, pepper, vanilla and caramel, with agave syrup in the finish.
