Doc Swinson's Blenders Cut is a five-year-old bourbon in a 75cl bottle, distilled by MGP and bottled from the cask at 57.5% ABV (115 proof). It follows several releases of the Triple Cask Alter Ego Bourbon.
Jesse Parker, the blender, noticed that glasses of the base bourbon tended to stay in hand during late-night tastings in the warehouse, and that prompted this bottling. It can be drunk neat or with a little water.
The notes are apricots, brown sugar, peanuts, toasted almond, charred oak, dark chocolate and cream.
