This is a 10-year-old Ben Nevis from the Highlands, bottled by Meadowside Blending for its Maltman series. It was distilled in January 2013 and bottled in January 2023, at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a refill butt and yielded 465 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers orange zest, roasted almonds and a little coconut. The palate is juicy and viscous, with mango, milk chocolate, toffee and some overripe banana, then silky and fruity with tinned peach, lychee and a barely noticeable hint of peat smoke.
