An 11 year old Ben Nevis, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 by the independent bottler Meadowside Blending for its The Maltman series. It matured entirely in a bourbon barrel and is bottled at 52.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release is limited to 240 bottles.
The nose is fruity, with peach, pear and dried banana flakes. The palate is velvety and complex, with tropical fruit such as papaya and passion fruit, a little strawberry jam and juicy peach. The finish is long and soft, with some mango, caramel and hazelnut.
