Ben Nevis 12 Years is part of the Maltman series from Meadowside Blending, bottled at 53.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in December 2008, finished in sherry and bottled in April 2021, with 290 bottles filled. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with fruit cake and a little toffee. On the palate ripe pear and a touch of strawberry come first, followed by mango and some toasted oak. The finish is spicy and warming, with delicate sherry notes and a pleasant length.
