Ben Nevis Traditional Peated Malt is a peated Highland single malt, bottled by the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose sets sea salt and dry smoke around toffee, honey, raisins, marzipan and fragrant flowers. On the palate it is soft and mild, with blossom honey, salted butter, caramel and gentle peat smoke, while a little wood, ginger and spice add definition.
The finish is long, with sweet marzipan and chocolate, some vanilla, buttery caramel and delicate smoke.
