This is a 12-year-old BenRiach from Speyside, bottled in 2023 by Cadenhead's for its Original Collection. It is non-chill-filtered with no added colour, and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured entirely in Sauternes casks, which bring a fruity, honeyed depth alongside BenRiach's fresh Speyside character.
The nose offers ripe peach, apricot, honey, vanilla and floral notes. The palate is round and full, with tropical fruit, grapes, soft malt sweetness and a creamy wine influence. The finish is medium long, softly sweet and balanced.
