BenRiach 13 Year Old Smoky PX Puncheon is a single cask Speyside malt distilled in 2007. It belongs to the Cask Collection, a series of varied casks drawn from the distillery's warehouses.
The whisky is made from peated barley, a style BenRiach was the first Speyside distillery to offer as single malt. It matured in a Pedro Ximenez puncheon and was bottled at its natural strength.
On the palate, chocolate cream, honey, mandarin and dried apricot meet the richness of the Pedro Ximenez, with Brazil nuts and pecans, wrapped in subtle, vegetal peat smoke.
