This is a 16-year-old Benriach single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2025 by Hart Brothers. It was matured in a first fill sherry butt.
The nose is rich with sherry, dark berries and dried fruit, underlined by fine chocolate and sweet caramel. The palate is full-bodied and strong, with sherry meeting dark fruit and creamy toffee, lifted by spiced cocoa and nuts.
The finish is elegant, with sweet woody notes, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
