Benriach 16 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for 16 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The three-cask maturation results in layers of stone fruit, creamy malt, wild honey and nutty oak spice.
The nose brings baked apple and creamy hazelnut malt, with ginger-spiced apricot and honey. On the palate come spiced stewed apple, stone fruit and mellow nutty oak, with honeyed malt and candied peel.
