Benriach – 18 Year Old Ex Refill Bourbon Hogshead 49.8% (70cl, 49.8%)

This is an eighteen-year-old Benriach single malt from a single ex-refill bourbon hogshead. It was bottled at its natural cask strength of 49.8%, without colour adjustment and without chill-filtration. The hogshead yielded only 109 bottles, fewer than had been hoped for. Part of the cask had earlier been sold as shares in cask number 103, and the remaining bottles are in 70cl size.
