This is a Speyside single malt from Benriach, distilled in 1991 and matured in oak for more than 30 years. It is a single cask from the Artist #13 series, bottled at cask strength in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtering and with natural colour.
The nose offers mango, roasted pineapple and papaya, with orange marmalade, acacia honey and beeswax over vanilla, almond and polished oak. The palate is silky, with marzipan, dried apricot, juicy tropical fruit, cinnamon, ginger, white flowers and a touch of black tea. The finish is very long and waxy, with candied citrus and fine herbs.
