BenRiach 2005 15 Year Old is a single cask Speyside malt from the distillery's Cask Edition series. It was distilled on 10 June 2005 and matured for 15 years in an Oloroso sherry butt, then bottled at a cask strength of 59.8% ABV. The release is limited to 580 bottles.
The nose is rich, with sherry, honey, orange and a touch of crème brûlée. Chocolate, roasted hazelnuts and sweet raisins lead the palate, with sweet spices. The finish is long and warming, with fruit cake, sherry and a hint of wood and caramel.
