Benriach 2005 18 Year Old is a single cask Speyside single malt from cask #2010, a Bordeaux wine barrique. The spirit was distilled in December 2005 and matured for 18 years before bottling in 2025.
It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 62.7% ABV, and the release comes to 292 bottles. The wine cask adds richness and depth to Benriach's fruit-forward spirit.
On the palate there are dark berries, black cherries and plum compote, with cocoa, baking spice and polished oak, followed by a powerful, full-bodied finish.
