Benriach 2008 16 Year Old Cask Edition #8744 is a single cask Speyside single malt, distilled on 22 May 2008. It spent 16 years in a single ex-Moscatel wine hogshead and was bottled in 2025 at natural cask strength, in an outturn of 284 bottles.
The sweet Moscatel wood sits alongside the fruit-forward character of the Benriach spirit.
Honeyed apricots, orange blossom and ripe peach lead the nose. The palate offers raisin, candied citrus and warming spice, and the long finish is delicately floral and sweet, with refined oak.
