This is an 11 year old Benriach, distilled on 21 June 2011 and bottled in August 2022 by Alistair Walker for Infrequent Flyers. It is Batch 11, Release No. 90, from cask 2372, with 703 bottles filled.
The whisky was finished in a Ruby Port pipe.
The nose combines strawberry milkshake and marzipan with a touch of Vimto, the British soft drink of grape, raspberry and blackcurrant, and warm buttered popcorn. The palate is creamy and soft, fruity and zesty, with Maoam and Opal Fruits chews, cranberries, blood orange, peach, apricot and stewed raisins. It is lively, with a fairly spicy finish.
