A 10 year old BenRiach from 2013, bottled by Dràm Mòr in a run of 199 bottles. It matured in a bourbon cask and was then finished in a first-fill PX sherry hogshead.
The nose recalls a box of Christmas chocolates, with a touch of marshmallow and a faint hint of dark liquorice. The palate is fruitier than expected and notably clean for a BenRiach. The finish is long and full of character, lingering for a good while.
