Benriach – 22 Years 2000 Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection (70cl, 59%)

This is a 22 year old Benriach from Speyside, bottled independently by Signatory Vintage in its Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled on 24 May 2000 and bottled on 18 July 2022 at 59%, from a first fill sherry butt. The outturn was 693 bottles, in a 70cl size. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is lively, with cherries, raisins, dried fruit, chocolate, cinnamon, toffee and nutmeg. The palate is oily, with sultanas, honey and dark chocolate, a fresh note and a slightly bitter touch. The finish is of medium length, with dried fruit and spice.
