This is a single cask Benriach from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1999 and matured for 24 years in a refill sherry butt, then bottled on 27 February 2024 at 57.1%. Batch 24/190 comprises 492 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose pairs Brazil nut and Seville orange with a fine touch of lavender. The palate opens with sweet raspberry liquorice, followed by toffee with dark sugar syrup and ginger spice. The finish is full and spicy, with citrus notes lingering.
