BenRiach 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% ABV after 25 years of maturation in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
The bourbon casks bring vanilla, honey and ripe fruit, while the sherry casks add dried fruit, raisins, spice and a fuller body.
The nose offers ripe pears, baked apples, honey, vanilla and dried fruit, with spice and oak behind. The palate is full, with sweet fruit, dark chocolate, raisins and warming spices, and the finish is long.
