Benriach – 7 Year Old Refill Sherry Hogshead, Claxton's Exploration Series 3rd Release (70cl, 50%)

Benriach 7 Year Old is a Speyside single malt that spent seven years in a refill sherry hogshead before Claxton's bottled it at 50%. It comes from the third release of the Exploration Series. Bottles in this series use a standard round shape rather than the flat bottle Claxton's normally uses. Each carries a gold pole under the foil, part of a token scheme that leads to an exclusive Claxton's bottling.
