BenRiach Cask Strength Batch 1 is a Speyside single malt from the Elgin distillery, and the first cask strength expression added to the core range. It is bottled at 57.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and at natural colour, straight from the cask.
The palate shows creamy heather honey over apples, pears and apricots, with candied peel and fresh ginger adding gentle warmth. The finish brings vanilla, toasted coconut and sweet barley, and is velvety in texture.
