BenRiach Heart of Speyside is a single malt vatted by master blender Billy Walker from whiskies aged 4, 5, 8, 10 and 15 years, the 10 year old being peated. It won silver at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2006. The nose is sweet malt, mead and honey, with nutty wood and a hint of sherry. The palate is nutty and woody with malt and citrus, tasting both bitter and sweet.
