A Benriach from Speyside, matured for more than 30 years. It was distilled in 1991, aged in a sherry butt and bottled in 2023 at 51.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full and complex, moving between camomile, broom and mimosa, pineapple and banana, fresh walnut, and spices such as curry and ginger. With time it turns to lemon balm and verbena, then dandelion and straw.
The palate is concentrated and rich, with coconut milk and a refined texture. The finish is long and full, with greengage, yellow peach, gentian and cardamom, wrapped in a fine layer of black liquorice.
