Benriach – Peated Quarter Casks Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Benriach Peated Quarter Casks is a single malt distilled from peated malted barley and matured entirely in quarter casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The smaller casks bring the spirit into closer contact with the wood, which gives depth of flavour and aroma in a shorter time. On the nose, wood smoke builds to burning heather alongside ripe orchard fruit, peach and cinnamon sugar. The palate moves from intense peat smoke to smouldering embers with green pear, nectarine, nutty oak and white pepper, ending in a crisp, smoky finish.
