BenRiach The Original Ten is a 10 year old Speyside single malt bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It is the flagship expression of the BenRiach distillery.
The spirit is matured for at least ten years in three types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak casks. The whisky from each is then married together.
The nose is citrus-forward, with gingerbread and cinnamon. On the palate come fried banana and brown sugar, with strong barley notes throughout. The finish carries peppery malt and vanilla custard.
