BenRiach The Smoky Ten is a 10 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit.
The whisky is matured for at least ten years in three types of cask: bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak. The distillery returned to making peated batches in the early 1970s, using barley malted over Highland peat in the old 19th-century manner.
It is described as layers of ripe fruit, aromatic smoke and toasted oak spice, ending in a balanced, sweet and smoky finish.
