The Smoky Twelve is a 12 year old single malt from Benriach, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. It leans towards the richer and darker, smokier side of the distillery's spirit.
The whisky was aged in a combination of bourbon, sherry and marsala casks. Peat smoke runs through it, joined by dried fruit and vanilla from the bourbon and sherry wood, while the marsala casks add rich, sweet fruit.
