Benriach – "The Twenty One" 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

Benriach The Twenty One is a Speyside single malt matured for at least 21 years. It combines unpeated and peated spirit. The whisky was matured in four cask types: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. The whisky from each was then married together. The colour is honey gold and the smoke level is described as elegant. The nose is berry fruit, orchard apple, wild honey and mountain oak spice. On the palate come candied grape, rich cocoa and smoked pine nut, finishing with caramelised pear and honey smoke.
