This is a 12 year old single malt from BenRiach, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit, matured for at least twelve years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks and Marsala wine casks. The whisky from each cask is then married together.
The nose brings smoked vanilla, charred orange and toasted almond. On the palate are dark chocolate, fruit peel, brown sugar and smoked oak, running into a finish of cocoa and smoked orange.
