The Smoky Ten is a Benriach single malt made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured for at least 10 years in three types of cask: bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak. The whisky from each is then married together. The colour is bright gold.
The nose offers ripe orchard fruit, smoked honey glaze and oak spice. On the palate come smoked applewood, honey maple and spiced pear, and the finish is sweet and smoky, with lingering fruit and smoked oak.
