Benriach – The Smoky Twelve

Benriach The Smoky Twelve is a 12 year old Speyside single malt made from a balance of peated and unpeated spirit. It is matured in bourbon barrels, sherry casks and Marsala wine casks, each adding something different: vanilla sweetness from the bourbon oak, dried fruit and spice from the sherry, and a rich fruit character from the Marsala. Ripe fruit, dark chocolate, creamy vanilla and gentle oak spice sit alongside aromatic peat smoke, leading to a long, warming finish.
