Benriach – The Twenty Five 25 Year Old Four Cask Matured (70cl, 46%)

A 25 year old Speyside single malt, the distillery's own bottling, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It was updated in late 2020 with new packaging and now sits at the same strength as most of the core range. The whisky is matured in four types of cask: Bourbon, Sherry, Madeira and Virgin Oak. The nose has smoked apricot, dark cherry chocolate and hazelnut toffee. The palate brings baked fruit, toasted oak spice, and orange and cinnamon spice, finishing with rich caramelised smoke. The colour is deep amber.
