BenRiach – The Twenty One 21 Year Old

BenRiach The Twenty One is a Speyside single malt made from a blend of peated and unpeated whiskies, matured for more than 21 years. The casks used were bourbon, sherry, new oak and Bordeaux red wine. Over the long maturation the creamy smoke of BenRiach softens and settles in among fruit, barley and oak notes. It is described as fruity, with honey, spice and orchard fruit, an elegant smoky wild honey note, toasted pine wood, and a finish of smoked honey.
