Benromach – 10 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Benromach 10 Year Old is a Speyside malt whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for ten years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, and the sherry casks come through strongly on the palate. The nose is typically described as oaky malt and southern fruit with a little smoke. The palate brings forest fruits and roasted malt, and the whisky is characterful and balanced, with a medium level of peat.
