Benromach 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2009 and matured for 16 years in a first-fill Super Toscan wine cask. It belongs to the Itinéraires collection and is bottled at 58.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The wine cask gives a darker, more pulpy and tenser character than a classic Benromach. Ripe red fruit, a winey quality, soft spices and a light smoke answer one another with energy.
