Berry Bros. & Rudd Classic Range Blended Malt Peated Cask Matured (70cl, 44.2%)

This is a blended malt Scotch whisky from the Classic Range of Berry Bros. & Rudd, bottled as the Peated Cask Matured edition. Several Scottish single malts are brought together in the blend. It sets soft peat smoke and soot against a fruity side without letting one cover the other. It is bottled at 44.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. Peat leads the nose, with fruity notes alongside. The palate opens with fruity sweetness before a gentle peat character comes through, and the medium-length finish stays peaty.
