This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Macduff, bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd from cask 700443 at 51.9% in a 70cl bottle. Macduff distillery stands in the town of the same name on the Deveron Estuary and was built in 1960. The nose begins with malted barley and green fruits, then opens with time in the glass to manuka honey, lemon oil and cedar. On the palate the fruity distillate brings orange, underripe peach, green wine gums and honeyed toast, followed by a finish of wood spice and a touch of vanilla.
