Big Peat is an Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made only from single malts, with no grain whisky added.
The blend draws on Islay distilleries, traditionally including Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and Port Ellen. It is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration.
Tasting notes mention coastal freshness, earthy peat, citrus zest, sweet malt and warming spice.
