This is an English single malt from Bimber, the London distillery, drawn from a single ex-port cask for the France Edition of a Country Collection. The cask yielded 290 bottles at 58.9%, in 70cl bottles.
The whisky is direct-fire distilled from barley grown on a single farm, and the port cask gives it a strong port influence.
Bimber was founded by Dariusz and Ewelina, who moved from Poland to the UK in 2003. Its first casks were laid down on 26 May 2016, and its first single malt followed in September 2019.
