This is a London single malt from Bimber, bottled as a single cask for the Italian market as part of a country collection. The spirit is made from barley grown on a single farm and traditionally floor malted.
It was distilled in October 2016 and matured throughout in a first-fill ex-bourbon American oak cask, then bottled in February 2020 at a cask strength of 58.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fruity, with green apple, citrus, pineapple, sponge cake and vanilla. The palate is creamy and spicy, with caramel, honey, tropical fruit, black pepper, cinnamon and toasted oak. The finish is long and warm, with sweet spice and ripe fruit.
