Bimber – Single Malt London Whisky Bourbon Cask Batch 4 (70cl, 51.2%)

This is a single malt from the Bimber distillery in London, bottled at 51.2% in a 70cl bottle. Batch 4 is made up of whisky from the distillery's oldest first fill bourbon casks. Bimber works with regional single-farm barley, malt from a traditional malting floor and washbacks from its own cooperage. Fermentation lasts seven days, and distillation is in two direct-fired pot stills. This batch runs to 7,000 bottles, more than any release before it. It is described as balanced and deep, with typical notes of light fruit, caramel, vanilla and spice.
